These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of insearch.ai and the InSearch enterprise search service ("Service") provided by InSearch ("InSearch", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
1. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use. You must be authorized to connect any data source you add to the Service.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:
- Use the Service to access content you are not authorized to access, or attempt to bypass permission controls.
- Reverse engineer, interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security features.
- Use the Service to violate any applicable law or the rights of others.
- Connect sources or upload content you do not have the right to use.
3. Permission-aware and no-training commitments
InSearch is permission-aware. The Service inherits and enforces the access controls of each connected source at query time, so each user only receives answers built from content they are already permitted to access. We do not use your connected content, queries or answers to train shared or general-purpose models. These commitments are part of the Service and of these Terms.
4. Billing
Paid plans are billed in United States dollars (USD) according to the plan you select. Fees are charged in advance for the applicable billing period and are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated. We may update pricing on a going-forward basis with reasonable notice.
5. Intellectual property
InSearch and its licensors own all rights in the Service, including its software, design and brand. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You retain all rights in your own content. You grant us the limited rights necessary to index and process your connected content solely to provide the Service to you.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". InSearch is a search and information tool. While we work to ground answers in your real documents with citations, answers may contain inaccuracies, and you are responsible for verifying information before relying on it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, InSearch will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to InSearch, other users or third parties. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we will handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in Delaware will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
