Hebbia pricing, Hebbia AI pricing and what Hebbia costs per seat in 2026

Most pages that rank for Hebbia pricing say the same thing in different words: contact sales. That is true, and it is not much help if you are building a budget, comparing a quote you already have, or deciding whether Hebbia belongs on the shortlist at all.

Short answer

Hebbia does not publish a price. Its pricing page has offered only a demo request in every archived copy from November 2024 to August 2026, and on September 30, 2026 the live page failed to load at all. The figures you see quoted come from the analyst firm Sacra, which estimates about $10,000 per Professional seat per year and $3,000 to $3,500 per Lite seat per year. Hebbia has not confirmed them. What Hebbia does publish is how a seat is counted: a "Core User License" belongs to one named person and cannot be shared, swapped or replaced by a script. So a 10 person deal team should plan on roughly $100,000 a year before negotiation.

So we did the reading. We went through sixteen archived copies of Hebbia's pricing page, Hebbia's Fair Use Policy, its security and product pages, the analyst estimate every other article copies, and the pages that repeat it. We traced each number back to where it first appeared and dated it. One of them changed by a third in the middle of 2025, and one widely read figure points to a source that does not contain it.

Every figure below carries a source and a date, and anything that does not come from Hebbia is labeled as secondary. We sell InSearch, a cross-app search tool for employees, so we are not neutral. Hebbia does deep financial and legal document analysis that InSearch does not do, and we say plainly where Hebbia is the better buy.

Why it works

What your team gets with Hebbia pricing

Every figure traced to its source

Sixteen archived copies of Hebbia's pricing page, its Fair Use Policy and the analyst estimate everyone repeats, each with the date we read it.

Named seats, no sharing

Hebbia licenses per named user. Pooled logins, rotating one seat between people and scripts that stand in for users all break its Fair Use Policy.

A price you can see today

InSearch lists $20, $32 and $49 per user per month billed annually, starts at three seats, and you can buy it with a card this afternoon.

What it handles

One search, a cited answer, scoped to you

InSearch searches across every connected app, checks your permissions, and writes one clear answer with citations back to the exact source documents.

  • Shows that Hebbia has never published a price, with the archive dates that prove it
  • Traces the $10,000 and $3,000 seat estimates back to the one analyst source they all come from
  • Quotes the Fair Use Policy rules that decide how many seats you have to buy
  • Works out Hebbia cost for a 10 person deal team and a mixed team of Professional and Lite seats
  • Says honestly where Hebbia is the better buy, and where the rest of the firm needs a different tool

Why InSearch

One search across every app, with a cited answer

Not eight separate search boxes, not a wall of blue links. InSearch unifies your apps and returns one written answer with citations, scoped to exactly what you can see.

One search, every app

Drive, Slack, Notion, Confluence, Gmail, Jira and Salesforce searched in a single query, so you stop opening a different search box for each tool.

A cited answer

A written answer in plain language with inline citations back to the exact source docs, so you can trust it and verify it instead of reading a page of links.

Permission-aware

It inherits and enforces each source's access controls at query time, so every person only ever sees answers from content they can already open. It never trains on your data.

Two versions of the same analyst estimate are in circulation. Sacra's April 2025 page described a $15,000 sticker price; by July 2025 it had become $10,000 for a Professional seat and $3,000 to $3,500 for a Lite seat, with no explanation of the change. Every later article we found copies the second version. Hebbia itself never uses the words Professional or Lite on its website.

How much does Hebbia cost?

Hebbia does not publish a price, so the honest answer is a quote. The most widely repeated estimate, from the analyst firm Sacra, is about $10,000 per Professional seat per year and $3,000 to $3,500 per Lite seat per year. That puts a 10 seat deal team near $100,000 a year before discounts.

Treat that number as a planning anchor, not a list price. Sacra does not cite a source, Hebbia has not confirmed it, and an earlier version of the same Sacra page put the sticker at $15,000 a seat. Larger deployments are described by several vendors as landing in the mid to high six figures a year, but none of them shows its working either. If you already hold a Hebbia quote, the useful comparison is the per-seat figure after discount against the $10,000 anchor, and the number of named people the quote assumes.

Does Hebbia publish its pricing?

No, and it never has. We read sixteen archived copies of Hebbia's pricing page from November 2024 to August 2026, and every one shows a demo request with no plans, no figures and no trial. On September 30, 2026 the live pricing page did not load its content at all.

The pitch on the archived pages is value rather than price: "Value on Day 1" and "ROI out of the box, with unlimited customization for the Enterprise". The button moved from "Book a Demo" to "Contact sales" in mid 2026 and to "Request a demo" by August. That is typical for software sold to investment banks, asset managers and law firms, where the contract is negotiated per firm and often bundled with onboarding.

What is the Hebbia pricing model?

Hebbia licenses its platform per named user on an annual contract. Its own Fair Use Policy calls each seat a "Core User License", assigned to one individual who actively uses the platform, with usage unlimited within fair use rather than metered by the query.

That structure matters more than the headline price. There are no credits to run out of, which is a real advantage over tools that meter AI usage. The cost instead scales with headcount: every analyst, associate and lawyer who needs to run their own queries needs their own seat. Metronome's pricing index describes the pattern as landing with Professional seats and expanding with cheaper Lite seats, and notes a minimum one year term.

What is the difference between Hebbia Professional and Lite seats?

According to Sacra, a Professional seat covers unlimited reasoning, building agents, premium data integrations such as PitchBook and Capital IQ, and workflow automation, at about $10,000 a year. A Lite seat is for people who consume outputs and run agents someone else built, at $3,000 to $3,500 a year.

Hebbia's website does not use either name, so confirm the tiers in your own order form. The split is still a useful way to plan: a small group of power users who design the Matrix grids and agents, and a larger group who read the results. Getting that ratio right is where most of the savings in a Hebbia negotiation live.

How much does Hebbia cost for a 10 person deal team?

On Sacra's estimates, about $100,000 a year for 10 Professional seats. A mixed team of 10 Professional and 20 Lite seats comes to roughly $160,000 to $170,000 a year. These are planning figures built from unconfirmed estimates, not quotes.

Deal team plus readers10 Professional, 20 Lite$160,000 to $170,000Not estimated
Investment group25 Professional, 50 Lite$400,000 to $425,000Not estimated

For comparison, the same 10 people on InSearch Business at $32 per seat billed annually cost $3,840 a year. That is not a like-for-like comparison, and we would not pretend it is: Hebbia builds structured analysis over data rooms and financial datasets, which InSearch does not. It is the right comparison for everyone else in the firm who only needs to find the latest memo, policy or thread.

Does Hebbia have a free trial?

No self-serve trial is offered anywhere on Hebbia's website. Every version of the pricing page we read, from November 2024 to today, offers a demo request instead.

Enterprise buyers usually negotiate a paid or unpaid pilot as part of the sales process, scoped to a handful of named users and a defined set of documents. If you run one, agree the success criteria in writing before it starts: which workflows, which documents, how accuracy will be checked, and what the per-seat price is if you convert. A pilot without an agreed price tends to end with the first quote setting the anchor.

What counts as a user under Hebbia's Fair Use Policy?

A person. Hebbia's Fair Use Policy says each Core User License is assigned to "a single, named individual who actively uses Hebbia's platform". Shared or pooled accounts are not allowed, seats cannot be swapped between people, and scripts or APIs cannot be used in place of licensed users.

If usage runs above the norm, Hebbia says it may require additional licenses after a 10 business day cure period, and that excessive use can lead to throttling, suspension or "the need to upgrade to a higher-tier plan". In practice this means you cannot buy five seats for a team of fifteen and rotate them. Count every person who will run their own queries before you sign.

Hebbia vs Glean, which costs more?

Per seat, Hebbia costs far more: about $10,000 a year for a Professional seat on Sacra's estimate, against a Vendr median Glean contract of $98,890 a year that typically covers 100 to 250 users or more. Per contract, they can land in the same range, because Hebbia is usually bought for a small team and Glean for the whole company.

They also do different jobs. Glean searches across a company's workplace apps. Hebbia analyzes large sets of long documents and financial data for deal and legal work. Many firms that buy Hebbia for the deal team still need search for everyone else. We run the numbers side by side in Hebbia vs Glean pricing, and Glean pricing covers Glean on its own.

Is Hebbia worth it, and what is the alternative?

Hebbia is worth it when the work is structured analysis across hundreds of long documents: reading every credit agreement in a data room, spreading comps, building an LBO model with a citation in every cell. For a deal team billing that work, $10,000 a seat can pay back quickly.

It is the wrong purchase for the other 200 people in the firm. The operations lead looking for the current expense policy, the associate who needs last quarter's client memo, the IT manager hunting for a vendor contract do not need Matrix grids or FactSet data. They need one search across SharePoint, Google Drive, Slack, Confluence, Gmail and the CRM that returns a cited answer and respects who can open what. That is what InSearch does, from $20 a seat billed annually with a three seat minimum, and you can try it on your own documents with the tool at the top of this page. Good questions

Questions about Hebbia pricing

Hebbia does not publish a per-user price. The analyst firm Sacra estimates about $10,000 per Professional seat per year and $3,000 to $3,500 per Lite seat per year. An earlier Sacra version from April 2025 described a $15,000 sticker price. Hebbia has not confirmed any of these figures.
Per seat. Hebbia's Fair Use Policy licenses each "Core User License" to one named individual, with usage unlimited within fair use. There are no published query credits, but heavy use can trigger a requirement to buy more licenses or move to a higher tier.
No. Hebbia's Fair Use Policy prohibits shared or pooled accounts, swapping a seat between people, and using scripts or APIs in place of licensed users. Each person who runs their own queries needs their own license.
Not a self-serve one. Hebbia's website offers only a demo request, and every archived version of its pricing page from November 2024 to August 2026 shows the same. Pilots are negotiated through sales.
Hebbia's security page and trust center list SOC 2 Type II, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO/IEC 42001:2023, plus GDPR and CCPA compliance. It says customer data is never used to train its models or any model provider's. We found no HIPAA or FedRAMP claim.
For deep deal and legal document analysis there is no cheap equivalent, and we would not claim one. For company-wide search across SharePoint, Drive, Slack and Confluence, InSearch lists $20, $32 and $49 per user per month billed annually, from three seats, bought by card.
