Kore.ai Pricing, Kore.ai Competitors and Alternatives for AI for Work

If you are pricing Kore.ai, you have probably noticed there is nothing to look up. The pricing link is gone from the Kore.ai website, the old URL returns a not found page, and the AI for Work product page offers two buttons: request a demo or talk to an expert.

Short answer

Kore.ai does not publish a price today. Its pricing page stopped showing figures in February 2025 and www.kore.ai/pricing returned a 404 on October 8, 2026. The last public rate card, captured in January 2025, billed by the session, where one session is up to 15 minutes of conversation: Search AI at $0.10 per session on Advanced, Automation AI at $0.05 per session on Essential and $0.15 on Advanced when paid yearly, and Enterprise by quote. AI for Work, the employee search and agents product, has never shown a price and is sold through a demo. Its Azure Marketplace listing shows $100,000 a year, which Kore.ai itself labels an indicative price, not the actual one.

That does not mean the numbers were never public. For years Kore.ai ran a self-serve price calculator, and the Internet Archive kept it. This page lays out every figure Kore.ai published, the date it was shown, how the session meter works according to Kore.ai's own documentation, what the marketplace listings say today, and the competitors buyers usually put next to Kore.ai on a shortlist.

Why InSearch

One search across every app, with a cited answer

Not eight separate search boxes, not a wall of blue links. InSearch unifies your apps and returns one written answer with citations, scoped to exactly what you can see.

One search, every app

Drive, Slack, Notion, Confluence, Gmail, Jira and Salesforce searched in a single query, so you stop opening a different search box for each tool.

A cited answer

A written answer in plain language with inline citations back to the exact source docs, so you can trust it and verify it instead of reading a page of links.

Kore.ai pricing compared with other employee search and AI agent options

Kore.ai figures from Internet Archive captures of kore.ai/pricing (last with prices January 25, 2025) and marketplace listings read October 8, 2026. Other vendors from our own pricing pages, each dated there. USD.

Option Price How it is billed Best fit
Kore.ai Search AI, January 2025 list $0.10 per session on Advanced, Enterprise by quote Per 15 minute session, self-serve up to 50,000 sessions a month Teams building their own search assistant on the Kore.ai platform. Historical reference, no longer listed
Kore.ai Automation AI, January 2025 list $0.05 Essential, $0.15 Advanced per session paid yearly ($0.06 and $0.18 monthly) Per 15 minute session, card payment on Essential and Advanced Customer service chat and voice bots. Historical reference, no longer listed
Kore.ai AI for Work today No public price. Azure Marketplace shows $100,000 a year, labeled indicative by Kore.ai Annual contract through sales after a demo Large companies that want search, prebuilt HR and IT agents and an agent builder from one vendor
Glean No public price. Vendr's August 2026 figure was a $98,890 median annual contract Annual contract, minimums often 100 to 250 users Large companies that want the broadest connector catalog and can run a procurement cycle
InSearch $20 Team, $32 Business, $49 Scale per user a month billed annually Per user, from three seats, self-serve by card Teams that want everyone to search company apps for their own work with cited, permission-checked answers

Session prices fell with volume on the old calculator: at 50,000 sessions a month, paid yearly, Essential was about $0.044 and Advanced about $0.131 per session, and above 50,000 the self-serve plans showed Unavailable. Kore.ai's Search AI card listed only Advanced and Enterprise and applied no yearly discount.

How much does Kore.ai cost?

Kore.ai has no public price in October 2026. The last figures it published, in a January 2025 version of its pricing page, charged by the session: $0.10 per Search AI session on the Advanced plan, and $0.05 or $0.15 per Automation AI session on Essential or Advanced when paid yearly. Enterprise was "Let's Talk" on every product.

The Internet Archive holds that page from July 2024 to January 25, 2025, and the table did not change between the November 2024 and January 2025 captures. On February 15, 2025 the same address redirected to the Kore.ai homepage, and on October 8, 2026 www.kore.ai/pricing returned a 404. So any Kore.ai price quoted after early 2025 is either an old list figure or a private quote.

The figures on third-party pricing sites trace back to that old page. CostBench lists Essential at $50 a month and Advanced at $150 a month paid yearly, which is exactly the old Automation AI calculator at its default of 1,000 sessions ($0.05 and $0.15 times 1,000). CostBench says it cross-checked those numbers against the official page on August 30, 2026, but that page had been redirecting for 18 months by then. Treat any article that presents $50 and $150 as current monthly plans with care. They were session rates multiplied by a slider.

How does the Kore.ai session meter work?

Kore.ai bills conversations in 15 minute blocks. Its current documentation says Automation AI is "billed per 15-minute billing session of user conversation" and gives the example that "a 31-minute conversation = 3 sessions." Search AI is "included in Automation AI" and "uses the same 15-minute billing session."

That is a different rule from the one Kore.ai used before. A 2023 page of its older developer documentation defined a conversation as "an interaction with the bot for any length with no more than 15 minutes of inactivity," and billed it at $0.20, with $500 of free credit per workspace that expired after 90 days. That legacy page is where some blogs still get the $0.20 and $500 figures. The current rule counts fixed 15 minute blocks, so a long troubleshooting chat costs more than a quick question.

Two other details from the documentation matter for a budget. Enterprise users can ingest "up to 1 GB of data by default" into Search AI, and buying only Search AI upgrades the workspace for Search AI alone. Contact Center AI and Agent AI are billed per agent seat instead of per session, either named seats or concurrent seats.

Search AI sessions a monthAt $0.10 (January 2025 Advanced list)Notes
1,000$100The calculator default
10,000$1,000About 100 people asking 5 questions a day on workdays, if each fits one session
50,000$5,000The self-serve ceiling
Above 50,000QuoteShown as Unavailable on self-serve

The usage figures in the middle column are our assumptions for illustration. The point is that a session meter makes the bill depend on how much people use the tool, which is good when usage is light and hard to forecast when a whole company adopts it.

What does Kore.ai AI for Work cost?

Kore.ai has never shown a list price for AI for Work. The product page sells it through "Request a demo" and "Talk to an expert", and Internet Archive captures from June and November 2025 show no price either. AI for Work is the employee product: search across company apps, prebuilt agents for HR, IT and recruiting, and an agent builder, running in Microsoft Teams, Slack and Copilot. Kore.ai cites more than 100 prebuilt connectors.

The only public number is on Microsoft's Azure Marketplace. The AI for Work offer, last modified September 23, 2026, lists a one year subscription at $100,000. Every plan description on that listing carries the same disclaimer: "These are not the actual prices and just a indicative/generic prices. Please reach out to Kore.ai for more information." So the figure tells you the order of magnitude Kore.ai expects to discuss, not what you will pay.

On AWS Marketplace, Kore.ai's general listing is a 12 month contract built from service units and support line items, such as $6,600 for 660,000 AI for Service units and $40,000 for Enterprise Support. A separate healthcare listing prices 1,000 digital sessions a month at $350. We found no AWS listing for AI for Work.

Who are Kore.ai's main competitors?

Kore.ai competes in two markets, so it has two sets of competitors. For customer service bots and contact centers, buyers compare it with Sierra, Yellow.ai, Cognigy and Google and Microsoft's own bot platforms. For employee search and agents, the AI for Work product, the comparison is Glean, Moveworks, Microsoft 365 Copilot and dedicated search tools such as GoSearch and InSearch.

Those two groups solve different problems, and mixing them up is the most common way a Kore.ai evaluation goes sideways. A contact center team wants voice, routing, agent assist and per-session economics for millions of customer conversations, and that is where Kore.ai has deep features and a long track record. An operations or IT lead who wants employees to find answers in Confluence, Slack and Google Drive is buying something closer to a search product, and should compare connectors, permissions and answer quality rather than bot tooling.

If your shortlist is the employee side, we keep current figures for the main alternatives on Glean pricing, Moveworks alternatives and Microsoft 365 Copilot pricing.

Yes. If what you want from Kore.ai is for every employee to ask a question and get an answer from the company's own documents and conversations, a finished enterprise search tool does that without building a bot. The common choices are Glean, GoSearch, Onyx and InSearch.

Kore.ai is a platform first. Its strength is that you can build almost anything on it, and its price model reflects that: sessions, seats, add-ons for voice and advanced retrieval, and support packages. That flexibility is worth paying for if you have a team to design and run the assistant. It is overhead if the job is search.

InSearch is built for the search job. It connects your company apps read-only, answers in plain English with citations to the source, and checks each answer against what the person asking is allowed to open. It costs $20, $32 or $49 per user per month billed annually, starts at three seats and is bought by card. A 100 person team on the Team plan pays $2,000 a month, a number you can put in a budget today without a demo. You can try a question in the box at the top of this page.

Neither vendor publishes a price, so the honest comparison is on what you buy. Glean sells a finished search and assistant product with a large connector catalog on an annual contract. Kore.ai sells a platform where search is one capability alongside bots, agents and contact center tools.

Choose Glean when the goal is search that works on day one for a large company and you can run a procurement cycle; Vendr's August 2026 data showed a $98,890 median annual Glean contract. Choose Kore.ai when you also need customer-facing automation or want to build custom agents on one platform and have the people to do it. If you are a smaller team, or you want a price before a sales call, neither is a natural fit, and a per-user tool with a published price is the simpler buy.

Good questions

Questions about Kore.ai pricing

The January 2025 pricing page offered Automation AI a 14 day trial with no credit card and 50,000 AI credits, and said Search AI trials were available on request. The current documentation says new apps include a free trial period before you choose Essential or Advanced. AI for Work is sold through a demo.
On the 2024 and early 2025 rate card, Contact Center AI was priced per agent seat per month at $29, $49 and $79 for Essential, Advanced and Enterprise on one toggle and $36, $61 and $99 on the other, with Essential up to 30 agents and Advanced up to 300.
Mostly no. Automation AI and Search AI are billed per 15 minute session. Contact Center AI and Agent AI are billed per agent seat, named or concurrent. AI for Work has no published unit; it is quoted. Per-user figures on some pricing sites do not come from Kore.ai.
Kore.ai has not published a reason. What the record shows is that the self-serve calculator was built around the XO Platform, that it last showed prices on January 25, 2025, and that Kore.ai now sells AI for Work, AI for Service and AI for Process through demos and sales calls.
For search across company apps, a per-user tool with a published price is the most predictable. InSearch starts at $20 per user per month billed annually with three seats minimum, bought by card, with cited answers that respect each person's permissions.
